Pre-Engineered Units
Orient Pre-Engineered Units are Clean Agent systems having pre-set quantities of agent “ Orient 227TM ” ( HFC227ea) and specific flow rates in sets of pipes, fittings and nozzles for various hazards specifically limited to type and size by underwriters laboratories, based on actual fire test conducted. Orient provides units ranging from 3lbs, 6lbs,12lbs and 18lbs that are super-pressurized to 240 psig at 70 F. The larger models are 35lbs, 70lbs, 140ls, 360lbs and 520lbs of which the units are super-pressurized to 360 psig at 70 F. All these units are designed for Total Flooding Protection Against Class A surface burning, Class B flammable liquid and Class C fires occurring within an enclosure. The Orient Pre-Engineered Systems are intended to be designed and installed in accordance to Orient’s Design, Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manual, P/N OCI-LP-SYSI. Engineered Units The engineered concept of the Orient 227TM ( HFC227ea) Clean Agent System allows a range of flexibility in design parameters. Applications requiring individual flow calculation to determine the quantity of clean agent ( HFC227ea) required for a specific Hazard volume, its set of pipes and fittings sizes, Applications requiring individual flow calculation to determine the quantity of Clean Agent ( HFC227ea) required for a specific Hazard Volume, its set of pipes and fittings sizes, and the area of volume each nozzle covers can be calculated through the Orient Flow Calculation Software, Version OCI 3.10. Orient Engineered units have various sizes of Orient227TM cylinders ranging from 35lbs, 70 lbs, 150lbs, 250 lbs, 375lbs, 560lbs and 1200lbs. These cylinders are super-pressurized with nitrogen to 360 psig at 70 F and have an operating temperature range of 32 F to 130 F. the units are designed for Total Flooding Protection against Class A surface burning, Class B flammable liquid and Class C fires occurring within enclosure The Orient Engineered Systems are to be designed and installed in accordance to NFPA 2001 and to comply with the Orient Design, Installation, Maintenance & Services Technical Manual P/N OCI-90225-D
